This Year's "50 Most Influential Women" Include Centralina COG's Planning Director, Michelle Nance

The "50 Most Influential Women" event was created to spotlight and recognize the important role women play in the greater Charlotte region, in the economy and in society. The honorees represent the most influential women in business, government, education, legal and not-for-profit fields.

One of this year's honorees include, Michelle Nance, CCOG's Planning Director.

"Recognition of CCOG's Planning Director, Michelle Nance,  as one of the 50 Most Influential Women, is a tremendous source of pride for our organization and region," said Jim Prosser, CCOG's Executive Director.  "Through Michelle’s leadership, vision and determination we have captured the values of people living in communities throughout our region and translated those home-grown values into practical guides for future growth.  That’s enabling our communities to assure a better future for our children and grandchildren by growing jobs and the economy, controlling cost of government and improving quality of lives."

The 50 Most Influential Women event includes a gala dinner reception on May 19, 2017 at the Charlotte Hilton Center City and The Mecklenburg Times special section detailing the honorees and their accomplishments.

Centralina COG congratulates Michelle Nance on this outstanding achievement!
